The benchmarking process
The benchmarking programme will take about 8 weeks from the beginning of data collection to the delivery of analysis and results, with actual collection of data being completed over 4 weeks.
As described above, the survey is based on a ‘blinded’ survey, where participants and their individual data are non-identifiable within the framework of the study, but are represented by an identity code only known to the study team.
The process involves three phases:
- A comprehensive online survey, to collect data on high level aspects of the industry, such as company size, turnover, structure.
- Collection of specific data via a technology platform able to collect aggregate and, in some cases, analyse data quickly, accurately, securely and anonymously.
- A series of brief interviews.
